Here's what the back of my house looked like before I laid the stones down. You can see why I wanted to make it look a little nicer

That stack is 15 tons of crushed rock (CR-6). It took two days and 5 people to move all that. Hard to tell, but it's standing about 4-5 feet tall and at least 8 feet wide..  

This is the first of about 100 wheelbarrow loads of rocks.. I had to bring my ground up 12+ inches to level the ground off. 

Leveling the ground out a bit then starting on the stones. 

This is the start of a very long day!

I'm about half-finished here. It's a lot of work to keep everything level and on the right path. 

Here's a shot of me laying the last stone. I can't tell you how relieved I was to be finished. 

You can sort of see what the lights look like at night. They add just the right amount of lighting to see where you are walking.
