Here's what the back of my house looked like before I laid the stones down. You can see why I wanted to make it look a little nicer Posted by Picasa

My patio on the left, chad's on the right. Just starting to add the crushed rock Posted by Picasa

That stack is 15 tons of crushed rock (CR-6). It took two days and 5 people to move all that. Hard to tell, but it's standing about 4-5 feet tall and at least 8 feet wide..  Posted by Picasa

This is the first of about 100 wheelbarrow loads of rocks.. I had to bring my ground up 12+ inches to level the ground off. Posted by Picasa

Leveling the ground out a bit then starting on the stones. Posted by Picasa

This is the start of a very long day! Posted by Picasa

This is what it looks like stepping out from the basement Posted by Picasa

Here's a good shot of about half of the the path coming from my basement door. One row at a time..  Posted by Picasa

I'm about half-finished here. It's a lot of work to keep everything level and on the right path. Posted by Picasa

Here's a shot of me laying the last stone. I can't tell you how relieved I was to be finished. Posted by Picasa

You can sort of see what the lights look like at night. They add just the right amount of lighting to see where you are walking. Posted by Picasa
